1. General Definitions
Welcome to Baby Holiday Gear!
This website is operated by Caroline Vlaardingerbroek, the owner of Baby Holiday Gear, a small business specializing in baby equipment rentals. By browsing our website or renting any of our items, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
In these terms, “you” refers to the customer, and “we” or “us” refers to Baby Holiday Gear.
2. Our Services
At Baby Holiday Gear, we provide baby equipment rentals in the areas of Thermi, Thermaikos, and Halkidiki, helping families travel lighter and more comfortably.
Our rental period ranges from 1 day up to 60 days, depending on your needs and availability.
All rentals are subject to item availability. While we do our best to ensure that the photos and descriptions on our website are accurate, there may occasionally be small differences (such as slight color variations). Rest assured, these will never affect the quality, safety, or functionality of the equipment you receive.
3. Booking & Payment
To make things simple, all bookings should be placed through our website.
Once we receive your request, we’ll confirm your reservation within 24 hours by email or phone.
Payments can be made securely online using a credit or debit card.
Your rental period begins on the start date confirmed in your reservation. Please note that the full rental period will be charged as booked, even if the equipment is returned earlier than planned.
If you need a little more time, you’re welcome to extend your rental
- The updated price will be based on the new total rental duration
- Any additional amount can be paid at the latest upon return
- Extensions are subject to availability, so we recommend letting us know as early as possible
If the item is not available for extension, it will need to be returned as originally agreed.
4. Delivery
We deliver directly to your location in Thermi, Thermaikos, and Halkidiki, so everything is ready when you arrive.
We will deliver to the address you provide, at the agreed date and time, between 14:00 and 22:00.
While we always do our best to be on time, delivery times are not strictly guaranteed. In rare cases (such as traffic, delays, or unforeseen circumstances), we may need to adjust the delivery time. If this happens, we’ll keep you informed.
For deliveries outside our standard hours, an additional charge may apply.
If you—or someone you’ve designated—are not available at the agreed delivery or pick-up time, we will do our best to contact you by phone or email to arrange a new time.
Please note:
- A new delivery or pick-up time may be scheduled later than originally planned
- Additional delivery charges may apply
- In some cases, we may need to allocate the equipment to another customer if delivery cannot be completed as agreed
In rare situations beyond our control (such as strikes, severe weather, or delays in previous rentals), delivery may be delayed or cancelled. If this happens, we will inform you as soon as possible. While we always do our best to avoid disruptions, we cannot be held responsible for any resulting inconvenience.
All equipment is delivered clean, safe, and in good condition, with appropriate packaging when needed.
We kindly ask you to check the items upon delivery. If anything is not as expected, please let us know immediately—we’ll arrange a replacement as soon as possible.
5. Use of Equipment
All rented items remain the property of Baby Holiday Gear at all times.
Our equipment is intended for personal use only, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
For your baby’s safety:
- Please carefully read and follow all instructions provided with each item
- Always use the equipment as intended and according to manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure the equipment is used safely and responsibly
- Adult supervision is required at all times when children are using any rented items
You are responsible for taking good care of the equipment during your rental period.
Most items are delivered fully or partially assembled, and final setup may be completed by you.
6. Returning the Equipment
At the end of your rental period, we kindly ask that all items are returned in the same good condition as received, allowing for normal wear from careful use.
Please note:
- If any item (or part) is damaged, broken, lost, or stolen, and cannot be used again, you may be charged the replacement value
- Items should be returned with the same (or similar) packaging—damaged or missing packaging may result in additional charges
- Equipment should be returned clean—excessive dirt may result in a cleaning fee
Regarding timing:
- Late returns (within 24 hours) may incur additional charges
- If items are not returned within 24 hours, we may charge the full replacement value
We will inform you within 5 working days of any damage or issues, along with any applicable charges.
7. Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, simply email us at [email protected].
Our cancellation policy:
- 24 hours before the rental starts, free of charge
- After 24 hours – 0 hours before the rental starts, the first rental day fee will be charged
Please note:
- The full rental period is charged as booked, even if items are returned early
In some cases, we may need to cancel an order (for example due to unavailable stock, payment issues, or delivery limitations). If this happens, you will receive a full refund within 5 working days.
8. Our Responsibility
Your satisfaction and your baby’s safety are very important to us.
If any item delivered is incorrect, damaged, or not working properly, please notify us immediately upon delivery. You can choose to:
- Receive a replacement as soon as possible, or
- Request a full refund
Please note:
- We are not responsible for accidents or injuries resulting from improper use of the equipment
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses
- Any compensation is limited to the amount paid for the rental
These terms are governed by Greek law, and any disputes will be handled by the Greek courts.
9. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
What we collect
When you visit our website or place an order, we may collect:
